Crescent Moon Cross Stitch Pattern

A soft crescent with a shaded inner edge and a few scattered stars. The stars are deliberately small, so they are a gentle introduction to stitches that stand alone.

How to stitch it

  1. Find the centre of your fabric by folding it in half both ways.
  2. The PDF marks the chart centre with arrows; start there and count outwards.
  3. Use 2 strands on 14-count (3 on 11-count, 1–2 on 18-count).
  4. Stitch each colour’s larger areas first, then outlines, then single stitches.
