Stitch tracker
Cross Stitch Tracker
Keep your place on the chart. Tap stitches as you finish them, highlight one colour’s symbol at a time, and see exactly how far you’ve come.

How tracking works
- Stitch mode toggles one square. Row marks a whole row; Area marks a dragged rectangle. Tapping a finished area again unmarks it.
- Colour filter: pick a colour to dim everything else and mark only that colour, the way many stitchers work.
- Focus mode hides the site menu for a calm, full-height chart. There are never ads in the tracker or focus mode.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move a cursor, Space marks the square, R marks the row, Ctrl+Z undoes.
- Saving happens automatically after each change. The indicator only says “Saved on this device” after the browser confirms the write.
For a step-by-step routine, read how to track cross stitch progress in your browser.
Limits worth knowing
Progress lives in one browser. It is not a cloud backup and not synced between your phone and laptop. Download the project file to move it, and keep a copy before clearing browsing data.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my progress saved?
In your browser’s IndexedDB storage on this device. It is not uploaded or synced. Clearing site data, or using a private window that closes, removes it, so download a backup file now and then.
Can I continue on another device?
Yes, by moving a file: download the project backup (it includes progress) and import it on the My projects page of the other device. There is no account or cloud sync.
What does the percentage count?
Completed stitches divided by all stitches in the chart. Empty (no-stitch) squares are never counted, so the figure cannot exceed 100%.
What happens if I edit the pattern after starting?
If an edit changes which squares are stitched, the Studio asks whether to edit a copy (keeping your progress) or restart progress. Old progress is never placed on a changed chart.
Can I mark a whole row or area at once?
Yes. Switch the mark mode to Row or Area. Choosing a colour in the side panel limits marking to that colour, which suits stitching one colour at a time.
