Privacy Policy

Short version: your photos and patterns stay on your device. We don’t have accounts, and we can’t see your projects.

Photos and images

Images you choose are decoded and converted inside your browser. They are not uploaded to our server or any other server. The original photo is held in memory only while the converter tab is open and is not saved with your project. Only the resulting stitch grid is saved, and only if you open the project in the Studio or tracker.

Projects, text and progress

Patterns, the names and phrases you type, project titles and stitching progress are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB storage on this device. We never receive them. This means:

  • They are not backed up or synced. Clearing site data for this website deletes them.
  • Other people using the same browser profile can see them.
  • You can export any project as a file and delete projects at any time from My projects.

We also use your browser’s session storage (cleared when you close the tab) to hand a project from one page to another if IndexedDB is unavailable, and to remember that you have already seen the homepage intro during this visit.

We do not put photos, entered text, pattern contents or names into page addresses, logs or analytics. Project links contain only a random identifier that points to data in your own browser.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested page) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics

Analytics are currently off. If we enable them, we will use a cookieless, aggregate service, update this page first, and never send images, typed text, titles or project contents.

Advertising

There are no ads on the site at the moment, and no advertising scripts are loaded. We may introduce Google AdSense on content pages in the future. Before that happens this section will be updated, and a certified consent tool will be used where the law requires one. Ads will never appear inside the editor, tracker, focus mode or PDFs.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies.

Children

The site is designed for adult hobbyists. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and it has no accounts or sign-up.

Your choices

  • Delete individual projects in My projects, or clear all site data in your browser settings.
  • Use the site without saving anything by not opening projects in the Studio or tracker.
  • Contact us via the contact page with privacy questions once an address is published.

Changes

We will update this page, and the date above, before any change in how data is handled.
