Autumn Leaf Cross Stitch Pattern

A single leaf set on the diagonal, with a dark edge, a mid-green body and a pale vein running from stem to tip. Diagonal shapes are good practice for counting across rows.

How to stitch it

  1. Find the centre of your fabric by folding it in half both ways.
  2. The PDF marks the chart centre with arrows; start there and count outwards.
  3. Use 2 strands on 14-count (3 on 11-count, 1–2 on 18-count).
  4. Stitch each colour’s larger areas first, then outlines, then single stitches.
